Etsy recently introduced offsite advertisement's with an additional xv%+Tax charging model. Sellers were opted in without their prior consent. Overnight, my selling fees increased to 31% of the order total. Equally a small business concern, this crazy fee hike is crippling and it'due south terrifying that such a alter could be made without prior consent.

As others have said equally a small business concern seller on Etsy the fees are out of control, I become more profit selling on eBay! Today they have placed a payment account reserve on my store for no reason. I accept 100% feedback, have no outstanding orders and they have given no justifiable reason why this has happened. Accented joke. I'chiliad sadly closing my account as there are zero benefits to selling on Etsy anymore.

What a joke of a company. No contact phone number or e-mail and a client back up help line that merely throws the upshot back at you .
My order arrived damaged was extremely poor quality and both etsy and the seller wash their easily of it.

Very interesting seeing the other reviews on hither. Paid for bubbly Easter egg (that turned out apartment sided) and for express delivery….5 days later it turns up. Etsy takes no buying and blames the independent trader on THEIR platform. Won't be using them again. Get to 'not on the high street' received my product from them the side by side solar day. Imagine that!

All-time for proficient quality products from modest businesses

Amazing website for skilful quality products from pocket-sized businesses. I personally would not mind to the bad reviews cause I accept used etsy for over 2 years for presents and never had a bad product. As these businesses are small-scale, you tin easily become ahold of the possessor and resolve any thing within minutes. Also you lot know the products are going to be made past hand as they take time to make so you know the quality is going to be great. I would recommend this website for anyone who has trouble thinking of presents for family or friends or something for yourself.

Etsy now SUCKS!

When i started with Etsy last year, information technology was great. I had just got into HTV & getting images to cut & press was slap-up, no trouble. All suddenly within the last 3 months, the sellers creating the images are now using different platforms that you cant get into to use the prototype after purchasing the prototype unless you jump thru hoops & end up using the basic screen shot of the image then save the image so copy the epitome. The whole purpose of paying was to skip these steps. Its just sad. You can tell sales are down (-17%, -thirteen%, -50% is advertised) since COVID cases are dropping, people are getting out more & considering people who actually started a business using etsy realized the sellers got greedy, stopped putting in the piece of work to brand the products obtainable & found they tin lie to get the sale but the delivery is the pits since you deceit use information technology. Damn shame considering ETSY is simply the platform allowing people(sellers) to jip the consumer. So i gotta detect services in the field im working in & pay higher prices to become what i already paid etsy for. Sucks!! And if you come across any software on ETSY for a download for one-half the price of what it actually cost, dont buy it. Its a fix. I got set upward. $forty for something that by and large costs $130. Another imitation file was sold. Ditch Etsy!

Never again... my order did not arrive, Gemma said to await for 10 days so they can record the item lost with Regal Postal service. I jumped shipp about 4 years ago cos they were taking more than from me in transaction and listing fees than turn a profit I was making. And that was long before all the terrible transaction fee increases and such. Not viable.

I sell on Etsy and their fees are very annoying. At that place's always a surprise. They are currently holding 75% of the money I made for 45-90 days because it'south a 'new shop'. Which makes absolutely no sense.. I can't even order supplies needed with these ridiculous deposits I get.
